Martha Chaudhry is a multi-award winning Singapore-based commercial and fine art photographer with 19 years of experience in Asia, the U.S. and the U.K. She is well known regionally as a portrait and family photographer with deep client bases in Singapore, Hong Kong and the US. Her fine art work is rooted in photography, and often appropriates images from the global archive as a palette. Processes of fragmentation and reconstruction characterize her works, which explore themes of simultaneity, transience and belonging.

Martha actively supports humanitarian efforts throughout the region, harnessing her work to raise awareness and funds for social justice. In 2011 she was a featured photographer in Channel News Asia’s documentary series Asia Exposed (https://youtu.be/qOlOJ2BxSIA). Her work supports the efforts of Homeland Cambodia, Caring for Cambodia, ShiftRunner/Pandoo Nation, PhotoVoice Singapore and other humanitarian organizations.
Ms. Chaudhry holds Licentiate qualifications with the Master Photographer’s Association (MPA) in the U.K. and is a Portrait and Merit Award winner with the organization. She is presently Master of Fine Arts (MAFA) degree candidate at LASALLE College of the Arts in Singapore, degree expected 2016. Her studio is in Dunearn Estate, Singapore.
